All content hosted on the HaLO (Halal Learning Online) platform, including but not limited to training modules, videos, HAS 23000 guidelines, graphics, logos, and proprietary software, is the exclusive intellectual property of LPPOM MUI (Lembaga Pengkajian Pangan, Obat-obatan, dan Kosmetika Majelis Ulama Indonesia). Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of these materials is strictly prohibited under Indonesian and international copyright laws.

2. Nature of Service

HaLO provides educational services and professional training regarding Halal certification standards. Please note that completion of a HaLO training course or receipt of a digital certificate of attendance does not automatically constitute a Halal Certificate for a product. Official Halal Certification must be applied for and granted through the formal audit and fatwa processes governed by BPJPH and MUI.

3. Accuracy of Information

While LPPOM MUI endeavors to ensure that all information on this platform is accurate and up-to-date with current Halal regulations (including Law No. 33 of 2014), Halal standards are subject to change by regulatory authorities. HaLO is not liable for any discrepancies arising from subsequent legislative amendments or third-party interpretations of the data provided.

4. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their HaLO account credentials. Any misuse of the platform, including “sharing” professional certification accounts or attempting to scrape data from the learning management system, may result in immediate termination of access without a refund and potential legal action.

5. Limitation of Liability

LPPOM MUI and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the HaLO platform, or for any decisions made by the user based on the educational content provided. The training is intended for professional guidance and should be implemented within the user’s specific corporate context.

7. Governing Law
